RisMusic was founded by Ris Ethereal - a graduate of Fine Arts from York University Bachelor. Her piano skills were fine tuned at the Royal Conservatory of Music and has been teaching piano for five years.

Who Is Ris?

Ris is a composer, improviser, and performer who mixes her classical training with her well-rounded background in various genres of music and world music, including jazz, Celtic, funk, and pop-culture. Having accompanied numerous bands and artists, and been hired for many formal functions, Ris currently composes and performs professionally with her own band. She inspires and encourages her students with creative expression, hard work, and enthusiasm to learn in a friendly and caring atmosphere.
